General Information about Camp Waipu Cove

Dairy and Takeaways
There is a dairy (small grocery store) practically onsite here at Camp Waipu Cove, where you can buy everything from fruit and vegetables to hot fish and chips. The dairy also sells fresh bread, milk and other grocery items, along with cold drinks, ice creams, potato chips etc.

BBQs
There are BBQs on the day reserve at the southern end of our Waipu Cove camping ground (this is the beachfront public area that is also maintained by Camp Waipu Cove - your ideal Northland holiday park).

Motor Homes
Camp Waipu Cove holiday park has a dump station onsite for your convenience.

Linen
A limited supply of linen is available for hire when renting Kitchen Cabins at our Waipu Cove accommodation. Linen is available at the Camp Waipu Cove office for $10 per bed (regardless of the length of your stay).

Parking
Each Waipu Cove camp site or cabin has space for parking one vehicle. There is also space allocated next to the Camp Waipu Cove office for one more vehicle per site / cabin. Your day visitors should park on the road outside our Waipu Cove holiday park.

Office
The Camp Waipu Cove office is open each day from 7.00am to 10.00pm (during peak times) and 7.30am to 8.30pm in the off-peak season. We are happy to help you with anything to make your stay as fun and relaxing as possible. Click here to contact us at Camp Waipu Cove.

Arrival and Departure
Check-in time for Non Powered Campsites and Powered Campsites is 1.00pm and the same for Kitchen Cabins and Self Contained Cabins. Check-out time for all accommodation at Waipu Cove is 10.00am.
